Last week I was reminded why I became a teacher. My students took the initiative to create a banner honoring me for the Marie Miller teaching award. Not only that, but they convinced administration to hang it in our building I am forever grateful. @theSMSD @xumis3 @UnionStationKC

My office looks a little different today. Snowy roads and bitterly cold temps have me working from home today. I love the flexibility of our district and not being afraid to try new things. We are teaching the next generation and adapting to change is what makes us better.
