Mrs. Undercuffler

Last week we read “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs” and we compared and contrasted the pigs’ and wolf’s point of views! This week we used different materials to build a house for a pig that would survive the big bad wolf (Mrs. Undercuffler’s hair dryer.) 🐷🐺#STREAM

Over the past few weeks we learned how to use some tools in Google Slides! We practiced using these tools by designing an advertisement for a chocolate bar we created! Here are some of the best designs! (Voted on by students!) #MarketingMasters🍫

This week we read “The Hallowiener” and discussed the strategies Oscar (and all of us) can use when we encounter a bully. We finished by designing new costumes for Oscar! #BullyingPrevention

In library, we’re getting ready for #HispanicHeritageMonth! We’re learning all about Luis Soriano and his traveling donkey library- the Biblioburro! 🫏📚

Having a blast exploring Curiosity Hall at the AMAZING, new @davinciscience!! 10/10 recommend checking it out!!

The storm clouds parted so that 3rd grade could have a blast exploring @CrystalCavePA today!! 🪨🍃

Our first trip to the new @davinciscience was a success!! After getting up close with some life-sized dinos, we did some research on our favorite type of dinosaur! Then wrote a fictional narrative about them! We even used AI to help us illustrate our stories! #STREAM 🦖🦕

Third grade had a blast & danced the day away at @atownsymphony! Thank you for an experience we won’t forget!! 🎻🎶

We are counting down the days until we relaunch as the Central STREAM Academy.

For this month’s Fun Friday, we read Balloons Over Broadway and watched a video showing how the real balloons are created for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Then we had a blast making our own balloon creations!! 🎈

Counting all of our trick-or-treat candy is going to be a breeze- since we learned how to use equal groups to solve multiplication problems!! Day 1 of multiplication was pretty sweet! 🍫🍬
