The hard truth: Most of us in the Black community don’t actually care about the facts in this case. Too many of us blame White people for all our problems and carry real hate in our hearts. We’ve grown numb to violence because it’s consumed our own neighborhoods. Karmelo Anthony was a child. I grieve for him. But he will now become a martyr for a community that keeps condoning dysfunction. It’s time we face reality instead of pointing fingers.

In defense of Karmelo's family. I think they knew their son had also lost his life, so the go fund was a send off. That was the last year of his normal life. He murdered another child. I mourn for both families. So the gofundme argument needs to fucking die.
