So I got diagnosed with PTSD from religious trauma (RTS). I wonder if it has to do with the lovely Salafis showing me the best manners by sending me multiple beheading photos and videos. I’m sure there are more people out there who have to deal with this now. Thanks 😊

Reading about Order of the Solar Temple makes me so upset because I see 1:1 parallels with the salafi sect I was exposed to and I can empathize greatly with all the victims.

Considering returning, but pivoting away from Islam (unless there's something specific to talk about). Not sure if I should just make a new channel for that or do it on the same channel since it is a notebook/diary of my progression.

I let people down. I'm officially done with Islam. All of it. Almost 2 years of healing and trying to be a better person inside and out, I found that religion played a huge role in my suffering (mostly self inflicted). Maybe it helps some, but it hurt me. I'm improved <3

This isn't to say that Arabic disproves radicalism. It's just that the non Arabs inherently have a higher likelihood of radicalization because from the start they surrender everything to their teacher(s). At least Arabs don't have that inherent need of guidance. 2/2

I see no solution to radicalization in non arab lands because without Arabic, you give your will to those who do. This puts your mind in the hands of the nefarious and stupid. This mental subservience is what causes radicalization. The same as any cult. 1/2
