📍 Field to Lab — Quality in Every Load PRI Engineering was on site at the Taylor Pit (City of Kawartha Lakes) sampling Granular A (Modified) during active crushing operations. This material is bound for upcoming roadwork projects across the city — and PRI is responsible for QC.

Why are subgrade inspections critical in construction? This site was once a school parking lot. After removing the asphalt, the contractor uncovered a soft, unstable subgrade — a clear red flag for future pavement performance.

Site Update from Ski Hill Road in the City of Kawartha Lakes. Here comes the train — and with it, a major upgrade to the road surface! Our team is on site completing expanded asphalt stabilization to improve durability and performance while reusing existing materials.

Out on-site at the Dalrymple Bridge project this week, preparing for geotechnical testing to support construction efforts. We'll be using a nuclear density gauge—an essential tool in our field—to test the compaction of materials used around the structure.
