Most product teams answer the stated problem. Omotenashi solves the unstated feeling behind it. Interestingly, I found a similar connection with Prof. Marty Cagan's book - 'Inspired: How to Build Products Customers Love'. The best product teams don't ask: "what should we build ?" Instead, they ask: "How would our users feel ... and what would make that feeling whole ?" The right question widens the frame every time. ⚡️ #PanoramicQ

Electric train propulsion system is good ... but if you want to truly understand what great means - then check out how MagLev train propultion works. MagLev is short for Magnetic Levitation ... no contact between the underlying track and wheels - so no friction. The entire train levitates (floats) due to superconducting materials that generate magnetism. 🤯

How did you solve the icing problem ? 🧵 My honest take on the current direction X has taken in recent days. Obadiah Stane stole Stark's blueprint + hired the best engineers and got a bigger, more fierce Iron suit. But Stane just copied a snapshot ... while Stark kept refining his suit after every new problem.

Most people answer "what is the problem?" by thinking out loud. They want to show how deeply they understand their field, and complexity of their work. Most people provide a data dump of everything they know to senior management leaders - outsourcing the judgment to leaders. Stark does the opposite. He re-frames Peter's question as: "What does Peter Parker need to know right now to be useful ?"
