Our two dads! Today one would have been 90 and the other 77, both gone within the past couple of years unexpectedly, but never forgotten 💙

This could have been the greatest day in his life, Now it’s a day of good memories, like our last holiday where we visited a wine farm in South Africa and tried a glass or two of this And this song reminds me of our first Scout camp where we also sang it around the camp fire

This year, which would have included the milestone birthday he had hoped for, I have another project planned. I found this bottle in a local store and it reminded me of one of our last holidays, where we visited this very wine farm and tasted the same wine.

Today was the 2nd anniversary of Dad’s passing. It was very short notice but under his terms, given the choices. 1st year I published the story of his life, 2nd year I established a charity that helps others, something he would have been passionate about as well.
