Here's a blast from the past, the OG enemy of Hash Rush,
the one and only...Fisher!
Known for living in swamps and kidnapping Ernacks, he's always been a terrifying monster!👹

Why do so many Web2 games face backlash when they announce Web3 plans?
From what we've seen, misinformation and knee-jerk reactions are often to blame, but what do you think studios can do to manage the situation and win their communities over?

@MeritCircle_IO Why thank you! It's been a crazy ride, that's been up-down-left-right, but we'll keep on moving forward with Hash Rush!!
And the journey's been amazing!🍻
Seems like only yesterday that they thought of building the bridge between Web2 and Web3. 🚀
Resilience builds character among the Ernacks. 💪

Web3 gaming is proving skeptics wrong and breaking down barriers, but challenges remain. 🥳💯
What do you see to be the biggest hurdle/challenge left for web3 to go mainstream in gaming?💭

Some more thoughts from the world of Hash Rush game development!💭
Camera control in an RTS game is an interesting feature that each game implements rather differently.
Some give you full control, allowing you to zoom in and out, rotate, and even pan the camera, while others restrict you to simply moving the camera on a single axis.
In Hash Rush you will be able to:
🔎 Zoom in and out
🔄 Rotate the camera around a single point
⏹️ Move the camera left, right, up, down.
Now I'm wondering, did we miss any camera control options?

A discussion between the Hash Rush team resulted in a question, what features make a good RTS game?
As the answer to that question ultimately forms a checklist for us (to make sure that we've got all the essential features to make Hash Rush fun to play), we put pen to paper and wrote it down!
The result? A 33-page - and growing - document that goes over core RTS features in Hash Rush, covering everything from enemy AI to camera controls, and how the minimap works.
Just another day in the life of a game dev!

Reworking the hero's abilities has been a major focus for us in 2023!
⭐️Here's an AOE attack from the hero, Arhan!⭐️
What do you think, do you like it?🤔

Overall the current wall is pretty good!! Maybe it's because I want it to have a bit of a breakthrough , break the way ! like this is a wall made from nature will be more unique!
- Some of my ideas:
- Walls of trees: walls are built with thorns clinging to each other
- Wall made of leaves: the wall is made entirely of natural leaves
- Vines wall: use climbing rope in combination with stone wall, camouflage in front of the enemy!
- Sorry ! I'm not very specialized in design but my comments are from a user perspective :3
- Thank you for reading
⭐️Let's look at something new that's coming to Hash Rush!⭐️
📣Introducing, walls!
Though highly requested, the original game did not have walls (as defensive structures). However, thanks to the Home Base, walls will now be a vital part of every base.
Why? Here's a snippet from our dev notes that explains it very well:
"Wall - Defensive structure which helps keep the Scourge Raids from sacking your settlement."
