Re: The Drama…I felt like Rachel’s reaction to Emma was intentionally Absurd. Like Borgli was tapping into that realm of art. And also into how people like to center themselves in tragedy even when they are at least a person or two removed from it (like Rachel with her cousin).

And that’s been really fun because you need a Ph.D. in literature to tell it what to do. Plenty of times I feel mixed about a movie, but it sticks with me, I revisit (after some thinking, some reading, some talking) and my opinion about it changes/improves. Engaging with art like this is good!
