It's so joever. Seems like china really lost faith in valve. They used to jump into stuff getting removed but this time the pumps are very underwhelming. I can only pray they go up a bit more after actual removal but I'm 100% done with armoury skins. There's no future for them.

@Separer It’s midseason, on a small player base game, it’s natural that people have strong kits and play the beginner map with worse salvage much less.

I just don't know if its fixed or not, matchmaking times are still significantly longer (especially on Perimeter) everyone has strong kits constantly, players I recognize constantly, can't play with friends STILL. I just feel like we need to be far more transparent atp

@Separer Important to note that stat is the top 1% of everyone who bought the game, not the top 1% who are loading in to matchmaking five weeks into season one.

@Yin_NGMI @PuterUser_ As a lower level casual this is exactly what I been doing. Getting gear and contracts done to level up then go use that gear to get better gear in like outpost. And even attempted cryo a few times.

Seeing a few people that are upset with the Dire Marsh free kit mode. "Just bring a free kit into normal mode" Do that and run into purple kits for the 10th time in a row and die off rip cause most spawns are right next to eachother. Most non sweats won't even make it to try number 3. It just won't keep casuals playing if they keep going into normals with a free kit and run into highly geared players. Free Kit mode at least ensures that doesn't happen and everyone is on an even playing field. Sorry that for a few weeks you aren't just pub stomping and actually facing other sweats each game for once 😂. I hope they keep free kit mode fully and rotate the maps.

The downturn in high-tier cs2 skins/knives is obviously due to market fear in China about taxation. Too few people are mentioning this.

@BobNetworkUK Modern players seem to dislike hard pvp. You can point to games like CS, but the playercount has to be so large that low ELO lobbies are highly populated for the modern player to accept deep multiplayer.

While this post is purposefully using maintenence times to make the player count look lower than it is, the hard truth is that Marathon peaks at around 25k players on Steam, down from the highest peak of 88k last month. Safe to assume the drop is similar on other platforms. :/
