God forbid companies go the extra mile to add 1-2 sentences more about the potential health risks of their products in their disclaimers lmao.

Fwiw, the simmered down nature of JB’s show is not the reason why I think it wasn’t good lol. Other artists have been able to give you a barebones production AND give you a fantastic show. The difference is those artists are truly great entertainers.

So, being disappointed in his show means you’ve had high expectations set based on previous performances? Why??

I think the reactions to JB’s Coachella set are interesting because I didn’t realize that folks considered him to be a great performer lmaoooo.

TikTok is a PLAYGROUND for marketing supplements to consumers with little to no regulatory oversight. And y’all still wanna blame consumers for falling victim to convincing marketing. Okee dokee!

Business is business... until it's personal. From the creator of Power, Courtney Kemp, comes a new high-stakes crime series. NEMESIS premieres May 14

SW's occasional delusion is why she had the career she had lmao. Couldn't tell her younger self that she wasn't the best player in the world.

Celsius says not to drink more than 2 servings per day, but that a) probably doesn't stop the average consumer from sneaking a 3rd or more and b) doesn't explicitly state (on the label) the potential for liver toxicity.

Also, folks blaming the parents for not knowing about the risks of caffeine potentially causing cardiomyopathy... How many of y'all are aware that excessive intake of green tea extract (something that is in a few energy drinks) can lead to acute liver failure?

I told the guy that the clothes and the hangers aren’t matching. Like an entire rack. He tells me, “Ya, that happens.” Ok, y’all just opened tho. Maybe fix it so customers can have an easier time shopping. You asking me if I need help. I WOULDN’T IF THE SHIT WAS ACCURATE.

Patients who often start by self-diagnosing are usually folks who have been failed by the medical system in the past. So they figure that coming in firmly with what they *think* they have might put them on a path to proper treatment faster.

If you can’t navigate your way to getting a patient to list off the symptoms they’re experiencing after they “just give you a diagnosis” then I question your effectiveness as a doctor.
Jonathan@jabberwock951

I'm not gonna lie, it is frustrating when you ask a patient what's wrong and they just give you a diagnosis. Like "I have a chest infection". OK, you're probably right but I need to know your symptoms to see if I agree with that diagnosis. I can't just take your word for it.

Take mineral sunscreen, for example. A lot of tinted mineral sunscreens contain the chemical filter, butyloctyl salicylate, which is verrrrry similar to octisalate. Its presence in the product hasn't stopped companies from saying that the shit is 100% mineral sunscreen.

Companies will place disclaimers in their marketing/on their product labels that meet the BARE minimum requirements. If they were forced to list all of the possible side effects of their products, many of you would be surprised to learn just how much bullshit is on the market.

The teenager who died after drinking multiple energy drinks daily...really sad story. Also sad to see people place the blame on the parents and not the manufacturers of the drink. Y'all lick the asses of corporate entities WAY too much. Come up for air, babe.
