When AIG Kayode Egbetokun was appointed IG of @PoliceNG in June 2023, the Police Service Commission, #PSC, compulsorily retired 54 y.o DIG, Moses Jitoboh. He sued. In a judgment in Jan. 2025, @NatIndCourtNig held that his compulsory retirement was void & unconstitutional. Neither the PSC nor @PoliceNG appealed against the judgment. Sadly, DIG Jitoboh had died in the week immediately preceding the judgment.

While growing up, one of the core principles that was drilled into us was to avoid the use of vulgar words No matter how much I respect you, if your post is always about sex, private parts, concentrated abuse, and use of derogatory words, I just know that our values do not align. There's a way respected and sensible people talk and behave. Its not everyone of us that came from dysfunctional homes or chaotic environment where anything goes. Imagine me abusing your mother or father during an argument, how nah? There's just no way I can reduce myself to that level.

The key points in today’s election indicates 3 things and which is still the fact. 1. The incumbent(APC) still has wide acceptance from the public despite what many believe. 2. PDP is not dead as many want us to believe despite political bigwigs not in the party. 3. ADC who is another opposition party still has a long way to go, because they are not prepared to take over from the incumbent, it is just vibes and inshallalh.
