Keep politics out of projects. Last thing anyone wants to come home to is a political statement in their favorite nonpolitical project. This applies to games, movies, books, linux, etc. We've seen time and time again politics destroy projects.

@RandoCommandoX1 The point is that the amount of advantages of UMU surpasses the disavantages and also several of these flaws will be fixed soon.

If you're having issue with launching games on the SteamDeck after the new update, try enabling the Steam Shader Pre-Cache on the Steam Settings or disabling UMU on the Game Settings > Advanced when using Proton-GE as workarounds. We are looking into it.

@GloriousEggroll Yep, just need one company to jump on the cheaper microtransactions with a great game, then maybe some change will start happening. Free battlepasses and 5-7$ skins would be the most logical direction compared to no microtransactions, at least in this current market.
