Mark Ashton, Chairman of Ipswich Town FC, has just delivered a masterclass in institutional cowardice. Unreservedly apologising for the “hurt, pain and distress” caused by hosting an elected Member of Parliament, Nigel Farage? Not for some scandal, but for the unpardonable sin of allowing democracy to set foot in a football stadium.
This is not compassion. It is the snivelling capitulation of a man who mistakes the shrieking of a Twitter minority for moral authority.
One watches such a spectacle with horror: another British institution folding before the mob, reviewing its “policy on engaging with politicians” as though free association were now a hate crime.
Pathetic, spineless, and beneath contempt. Britain deserves leaders with spines, not this grovelling.

You may have noticed that Starmer NEVER talks about the 67,000 Channel migrants who have arrived on his watch. No apology. No solution. Nothing.
Perhaps he could be persuaded to talk about their victims instead.
Like the vulnerable girl of 12 who was raped by Aghan National Ahmad Mulakil , 23, just four months after he arrived here by boat last March.
He’s just received 15 years. That little girl who was playing on a swing in Nuneaton got a life sentence.
Does Starmer say nothing because the attackers are invariably Muslim and he’s fearful of more Gorton and Dentons at the polling booths?

🚨NEW: In the middle of an energy supply crisis, Ed Miliband has just stalled the Jackdaw North Sea gas field project AGAIN.
Jackdaw could be up and running in time for winter, producing enough gas to heat 1.6 million British homes.
However, Ed’s priority is whether it fits into Net Zero and our international climate treaties.
Never mind that we would be using higher emission imports of foreign gas if we don’t use Jackdaw.
Imports don’t count in our emissions targets, so it’s a sneaky get around for Ed which will make us colder, poorer and less secure.
