Weekend in Paradise has just gone Gold 🥲🥹❤️ No radio playlists, no TV adverts or even TV performances, no industry backing. Just a real tune with a real meaning supported by real people. I remember writing it in a log cabin in the lakes whilst having me morning coffee and when I played the chorus for the first time, it made Rachael (my wife) stop what she was doing and I remember her sayin "that's boss that Jay". I remember the excitement at the thought that this song could take me somewhere else. Thankfully I was right. 5/6 years on and here we are. For someone like me who relies on the people (because I can't rely on the industry), this moment is such a big one. Thanks to everyone who believed in me and to everyone who still does. 🙌 The "tastemakers" aren't always right. Sometimes the people decide.
