Yes but reparations to whom? Reparations 4 existing Caribbean states or Afrikan people that were trafficked to the 'Americas' & elsewhere. In under 10 years what has ALWAYS been a #GlobalAfrikan claim has been reduced to a 'Caribbean' one which excludes #AfrikanHeritage Diasporas

Having been involved in co-organising London's first marking of the 23rd of August in between 2003 & 2007, it was an ancestral duty to participate in the @MayorofLondon & CAG organised commemoration of this key date in the commencement of the #AfrikanRevolution in #Haiti

It is not even an aspiration. Ways of bondage have evolved & not been eradicated. We do not celebrate but see 1st Aug as a day to elevate calls for a #Reparations Commission of Inquiry & work we do on #repair
