As an Irish nationalist and analyst of Marxism/Marxist indoctrination, I can confirm you are correct Vince.
Irish Republicanism, as a movement, was historically contaminated with Marxism from an early stage.
The IRA (Irish Republican Army) were colluding with the Soviets as early as the 1920's; passing on intelligence about the British (as the imperial oppressor) in exchange for cash, weaponry, and other support.
The IRA was training with the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organisation) at one stage.
Another group was the INLA (Irish National Liberation Army).
Their names give away their ideology.
Many Irish people cannot, or will not, see this stuff due to ignorance and/or indoctrination, or fear.
Once sane Irish people realise that the balaklava is symbolic of Marxist revolution and NOT Irish freedom, we'll be getting somewhere.
That idiot Ó Dochartaigh should have that thing ripped off his head every day.
Imo, without Marxism as the incendiary factor, the Troubles - the period of violence in Northern Ireland from late 60's onwards - may not have happened at all.
These Kneecap freaks are just brainwashed idiots (pushed by the establishment which is itself full of brainwashed idiots) who appeal to the many brainwashed idiots in the Irish public, both north and south of the border, and internationally.
The band members all use Irish names, which is typical of Marxists too - it convinces the gullible that they are patriotic etc.
Their presence in Cuba is just typical virtue-signalling double-standards.
Marxist leftie nuts like them have nothing honest to say about the effects of Marxist Globalism/leftie policies on Ireland, including on their fellow countrymen and women whom they claim to represent.
Let's rename them #HandyCap
