On July 1st, 2025, Retium was born. Today, October 7th, 2025, we mark another milestone, and the next big step in Retium’s evolution. The chain is ALIVE! Retium has entered self-growth mode, an autonomous blockchain powered entirely by deterministic math & logic, now fully running on a private testnet. Next up: • WASM smart-contract layer • Transaction flow testing • Validator logic tuning This is just the beginning. We are Retium. Freedom by choice - beyond decentralisation. 🤘 🔗 retium.org | t.me/RetiumChain

Earlier we mentioned that Retium is working on making it easier for validators to join the network. Part of this work is helping non-technical users become Retium validators through a simple wizard-based setup dApp. The goal is to make running a validator straightforward and accessible, even for users without deep technical knowledge. As promised, here is a beta tutorial video showing the validator setup process step by step. With this wizard interface, users can configure their validator, register on the network, and launch their node through a clear guided setup.

Introducing RAI AI has become part of everyday life. Over the last few years its capabilities have evolved dramatically, and as this technology continues to shape the future of software and infrastructure, Retium is evolving alongside it. Today we would like to introduce RAI — Retium Artificial Intelligence. RAI is a parallel development initiative within the Retium ecosystem. A dedicated team has been formed specifically to design and integrate an AI layer that will work alongside the Retium blockchain. From the very beginning of Retium’s architecture we intentionally left what we called an “AI socket” within the system design. The idea was always to eventually connect an intelligent supervisory layer capable of monitoring the network in real time. That vision is now becoming reality. The first role of RAI will be as an internal intelligence layer that monitors the Retium blockchain. Its purpose is to analyze activity across the network, monitor validator behavior, review performance metrics, detect potential bugs, and help identify malicious or abnormal activity. RAI will continuously process blockchain data and produce reports and recommendations for the development team, helping us improve stability, security, and overall network performance. In simple terms, RAI will act as a continuous analytical brain for the Retium ecosystem, helping developers understand what is happening across the network and where improvements can be made. As RAI continues to be trained on Retium’s architecture, data, and behavior, it will also evolve into a broader AI system similar to the AI assistants people already use every day. The long-term vision goes even further. In the future we aim to transition RAI into a public decentralized AI network running on Retium, where intelligence is distributed across nodes rather than controlled by a single centralized provider. The goal is to create an open, unbiased AI layer that anyone can access and interact with. That stage is still ahead of us, but the foundation begins now. RAI is being developed in parallel with the core Retium blockchain and does not alter or delay Retium’s primary development roadmap. Instead, it represents an additional layer of innovation that has been part of the Retium vision from day one. Retium — where blockchain meets intelligence.

Retium Coin $RTM, is the native coin of the Retium network, designed as the economic engine and coordination layer of the ecosystem. It is not just a unit of value, but the foundation that secures validators, enables applications, and aligns incentives across the mesh.

Retium is a next-generation Layer 1 that removes the biggest bottlenecks in blockchain. There’s no mempool, no fork races, and no linear block production. Instead of waiting in a queue, transactions are routed in real time into pre-built blocks. It runs on a deterministic prime-mesh architecture — meaning blocks are mathematically structured and precomputed ahead of time. Validators don’t compete to propose blocks. They specialize: Workers validate transactions, Suits finalize blocks, Keepers power the math and storage. It’s parallel by design, fork-resistant by architecture, and built for real scalability.

Scalability is the core limitation of most legacy blockchains today. Even when networks claim higher throughput than others, they still operate on a fundamentally linear state transition model — a single ordered execution pipeline. That single pipeline becomes the bottleneck. Most blockchains rely on a global mempool, sequential block production, and a single chain of state mutation. No matter how optimized the hardware or consensus mechanism, there is still one ordered progression of state. Under load, that structure naturally creates congestion. This is where Retium started. Instead of optimizing a linear bottleneck, Retium removes it structurally. Retium operates as a deterministic 3D Prime Mesh rather than a linear chain. Block IDs are mathematically precomputed, planning is separated from execution, and multiple blocks can be open and accepting transactions in parallel. There is no traditional global mempool. Transactions are routed in real time into pre-created “waiter blocks.” Execution capacity scales horizontally as the mesh expands. Retium also separates transaction finality from block finality. Workers finalize transactions independently before they are sealed into blocks. Suits then finalize the blocks themselves. This decoupling reduces rollback surface and allows faster hard confirmation without waiting for block-level consensus cycles. In practical terms, we eliminate the traditional queue model. We don’t wait for “the next block.” We route into available execution containers. Validator roles are also structurally separated: • Workers validate transactions • Suits finalize blocks • Keepers compute block IDs and maintain archive integrity This design removes proposer monopolies, mining races, and pure stake dominance. Participation is based on role contribution rather than hardware advantage or capital weight. Retium does not rely on Proof of Work or pure Proof of Stake. It relies on deterministic mathematical block derivation, prime-based linking rules, and atomic structural constraints that prevent forks by design. Blocks are not won. They are mathematically derived. This is Proof of Math — not Proof of Hardware or Proof of Capital.

We’ve been quietly building behind closed doors — no noise, no hype, no public roadmap. But it’s time for Retium to meet the world. Starting Feb 1st, we’ll begin sharing and explaining the Retium philosophy, vision, and tech, and what truly makes Retium stand out. From here on, expect regular public spaces, consistent updates, and full transparency on our progress — step by step. Our marketing team is up and ready. We’re looking forward to building our future community — believers, builders, and everyone who shares the Retium vision. Welcome to the next chapter.
