I’m local to @ItsBristolBaby. I grew up with going to races ever since I was a teenager and now I’m 56 yrs old. So I know Bristol. When Bruton Smith bought the track he made vast improvements because of the popularity at the track. In the 80’s 90’s and early 2000’s Bristol Night Race was one of the hardest most sought after tickets in sports. They reconfigured the track to cater to the drivers and not the fans, who wanted a demolition derby and not 100 laps without a caution. This WAS Bristol but it’s dead now and “just another track” now. Speedway Motorsports failed to recognize this fact.

That passenger was a 22-year-old student and died three months later.
