At Angelus, Pope Leo XIV once again forcefully calls for a ceasefire in the ongoing US-Israeli Iran War, saying “We cannot remain silent in the face of the suffering of so many people, the victims of these conflicts. What hurts them, hurts all of humanity.” The Pope’s remarks in full: “Dear brothers and sisters, I continue to follow with dismay the situation in the Middle East, as in other regions of the world torn by war and violence. We cannot remain silent in the face of the suffering of so many people, the victims of these conflicts. What hurts them, hurts all of humanity. The death and pain caused by these wars are a scandal for the entire human family and are a cry to God. I forcefully renew my appeal to persevere in prayer for an end of hostilities and for peace. May paths of peace, founded on sincere dialogue and respect for the dignity of every human person, finally open.”

The US doesn’t care who they hurt or kill. This is a hospital in Cuba that is running on almost no power. That’s patients without ventilations. Babies without oxygen. Sick people without food, meds and adequate care. It’s a genocide.

This’s a hospital running on bare minimum power in Cuba. The U.S. is starving millions in Cuba, laying siege cruelly cut off all fuel and aid from entering, power is out, food is rotting, water pumps stopped working, violating international law with absolutely no consequences.

Columbus police were dispatched on a so‑called “high‑risk” call. An unarmed Black woman stepped out of the car with her hands up. Seconds later, she was slammed face‑first into the pavement. This is what “routine” looks like for Black people in America: guns drawn first, questions never. There is no justification for taking a compliant woman and driving her head into the concrete. That’s not “procedure.” That’s excessive force. We need answers: – Why was this level of force used on a woman who was already surrendering? – What specific policy allegedly authorizes this takedown? – What consequences will this officer face? I represent families all over this country who have lost loved ones after encounters that started just like this. We will not wait for another funeral to demand accountability. The Inspector General and city leaders must move quickly, release all footage, identify this officer, and make clear whether this conduct violates policy and the Constitution.

Iraq 2003: Ahmed Chalabi told the Bush administration Saddam had WMDs. The intelligence community had doubts. They chose Chalabi. 4,500 Americans died. No WMDs were found. Iran 2026: Israel said ten bombs in two weeks. 18 agencies said no nuclear capacity. They chose Israel. 14 Americans dead. No nuclear program found. Joe Kent ran the National Counterterrorism Center. He just told you on camera what the intelligence actually said. And what was ignored to start this war. Never stop connecting the dots.
