- He’s paid $5,340 over the last 8 months
His balance went from $170,100 to $168,550
So after making $5,340 in payments, his balance only went down $1,550
And yes, interest is put up front but that doesn’t make this any less of a scam
Over the course of a loan at this type of interest payment he would be looking at about $143,700 in interest. It should not cost this much to borrow money
