The UNCA Medal for Climate Journalism is part of the annual UN Correspondents Association (UNCA) Awards, the Prince Albert II of Monaco and UNCA Global Prize for Coverage of Climate Change, recognising outstanding reporting on climate issues by international journalists.

SCMC proudly congratulates our alumnus Sanket Jain (Batch 2017, Journalism) on winning the UNCA Gold Medal for Climate Journalism, presented at the UN Headquarters, New York, by UN Global Ambassador Javier Bardem.

SCMC’s multimedia journalism students conducted a Live Simulation Debate of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, featuring panel discussions, defined newsroom roles, and live production workflows, strengthening their editorial judgement and broadcast readiness.
