Happy birthday to TWICE's gorgeous, super talented, Singer, songwriter, composer, dancer, TV Superstar, Fashionista & Global Icon, the One & Only CHAEYOUNG!👏🎂🎉🌟🐐👑❤️ #CHAEYOUNG became famous globally as the Main Rapper and Vocalist of the top-selling, chart-topping, record-breaking, history-making Girl group #TWICE! She joined JYP Entertainment at just 13 after training as a dancer, and participated in the reality TV competition Sixteen in 2015, finishing 6th and joining Twice that same year! Twice went to #1 in Korea in 2016 with "Cheer Up", which became the top single of the year winning "Song of the Year" at the Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards. "TT", from their third EP Twicecoaster: Lane 1, topped the Gaon charts for 4 weeks. The EP was the top-selling Korean girl group album of 2016. Twice was the 1st K-Pop girl group to earn a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for both an album and CD single in the same year! She has co-penned the lyrics for many songs by Twice. For the group's 2nd Japanese studio album '&Twice', on the track "How U Doin'", Chaeyoung took part in composing for the first time, making her the first member to do so.
