I hate how that term has been invalidated by people trying to claim that not wanting to date them & not wanting to be fat is somehow fatphobic
when it is an actual problem that has serious consequences

Fatphobia in medicine k*lls. This woman had been having abdominal pain & rectal bleeding on and off for years. It got to the point where she couldn’t eat and she went from 235 to 180lbs. She was in and out of the emergency room, pain getting dismissed because she was fat.
