A bit of a long personal post, I've had a lot of emotions bottled up sorry Having health issues for the past half a year has been a rollercoaster of emotions. The first months were super rough, I had no idea if I would ever get my voice back again like before as I was literally mute and every few words would hurt so bad. I had to cut down on streaming, the thing I love the most and could barely talk to my family. I was very sad and depressed... It took about 4 months for me to start seeing progress again where I could talk for 20-30 mins without pain. At that point I was happy about the progress but still had no idea if I could talk normal again, still couldn't continue streaming like before. I am now 6 months in and it still hasn't fully healed. It still hurts, but I can finally talk for 1-2hrs without huge pain. I can hold conversations, I can stream for a little bit every week. I finally have hope again that it will come back. It might just take a year for things to be truly over. This has been one of the hardest times for me, not knowing if I would be able to continue my job, my passion that I worked so so hard on but also not knowing if I could ever talk to people again and hold conversations. But, getting "sick" also changed me. It made me realize that I was letting myself go & that my whole life revolved around working every single hour I could. It made me take a break, achieve important personal projects, take care of my body. Most importantly tho, it made me realize how lucky we are to be streamers and how important it is to have fun while you can do it. I'm going to do my best to stay positive and heal while having fun with you guys for as long as I can 🤍 Thank you for sticking with me through this, and if you are having the same issue just know there is always a good side to what is happening to you even if you can't see it yet. lubbers 🤍
