1PM UPDATE: NORTHBOUND I-405 CLOSED IN #Kirkland
Crews are making steady progress on a massive paving job on NB I-405. Reminder, all NB lanes are closed between NE 70th Pl & NE 124th St.
Backups are as far back as I-90, & NB I-5 has lengthy backups in Seattle too. Plan ahead! 🚨

Good morning and Happy Saturday! Reminder: Northbound I-405 is CLOSED in Kirkland through 5 a.m. Monday morning for construction. Backups are already two miles long (out to SR 520) and growing! 🚨 Add a lot of travel time to your plans, or consider alternate routes north!

Backups on westbound I-82 near Ellensburg due two semi collisions. The left lane is open.
Eastbound I-90 between North Bend and Snoqualmie Pass is still backed up for about 15 miles.

CLEARED: The incident on NB I-5 at I-405 in Tukwila has cleared. Continue to expect delays as traffic clears.

UPDATE 3: The right 2 lanes of NB I-5 at I-405 in Tukwila have reopened. The left 2 lanes remain blocked. We are seeing about 6 miles of back ups. Expect delays in the area.

#Update The roadway will be reopened shortly. It was determined that the gunshot came from inside the vehicle. Detectives will determine how this happened. There is no danger to the public or any other suspects or vehicles involved.
