@SolveigApps Make sure to dry it properly; I spilled matcha on my macbook last month and the keyboard was working but in an hour it was not

@SolveigApps Have you considered a simple toggle where the UI in the background would flip. That way it isn't a button and you can animate between the two modes?

@RayFernando1337 Yeah good point, I am experimenting with the options currently. Voice note is fast live transcription for single speaker. Record meeting is more accurate, supports more languages is does speaker segmentation and is a lot slower.

Is there a performance difference if you select "Record a meeting," and it's just a note to yourself? If there isn't, then it's easier to have just one option, which is to record, and in the code, you could probably deal with keeping two streams of audio going and then detect if there's multiple speakers and switch over to that. You don't want to overload people in the UI, but to keep it simple, if "Record a meeting" works with one person, then I would just stick to that all the time

@ProtonFission First of all, the on-device transcription is not released yet. Also there are other aspects of the app like account, summary creation, purchases etc that require that kind of data collection.

@SolveigApps But why does it need all of this? I’d 100% get it if it said Data not Collected.
