We started out in 2015 and encouraged local people to ride their bikes, we had a series of rides together. It's now time to build on that.

@WiganCouncil No response or update from @WiganCouncil with regards to the Line upgrade .. Remember all this as part of our Deal? Started in March 2016 with a proposed finish of summer that year - wigan.gov.uk/Resident/Parki… - it's still going on .... great Deal eh?

After tweeting about how good our roads were earlier this year (they never were) I'd love to hear what @WiganCouncil think about them now. Massive dangerous pot holes all over the Borough.

We've asked @WiganCouncil umpteen times for an update on the Line refurbishment promised to Standish ages ago. No reply and no more news. As usual, this is #TheRealDeal for our village. So disappointed.

The recent rain has washed away so many of the temporary patch ups .... the roads are bloody dangerous if you are on a bike. @WiganCouncil please fix for the long term.

It would be polite at the very least @WiganCouncil to answer on this important matter. Are we any nearer to the line upgrade as promised? @StandishVoice

@lancashirepaddy We wrote to all three councillors and our MP to ask them to support cycling campaigns and strategies. Nothing much else to share.

Promoting safe cycling in #Standish would help cut congestion, lead to healthier people and connect our green spaces. Sound good ?

@Nicola_238 @WiganCouncil We have no more information other than that on the website about The Line. Wherever possible it should be of similar standard I would hope.
