Funeral wreaths are for honoring the dead, not punishing the living.
The average Korean in Korea does not approve of anyone sending death wreaths to people they simply don't like. So please keep that in mind before accusing an entire country of being unhinged and toxic.

if they're making you feel hurt or uncomfortable at work, always keep a record with dates to back up your complaints
and do keep complaining; they expect you'll put up, but actually you've got very little to lose!
