The class of 2023 were 5th graders when I became the librarian at State Road. My 1st graduates and my 1st Battle of the Books! It was so fun to see them all grown up ready to go out and change the world!

@stacymcanulty My 4th/5th graders are reading lots of GNs, books in verse, shorter chapter books appealing to older students. Not so much longer chapter books 300-400pgs+, only a few might pick those up. They like adventure, humor, scary, as always. Definitely Covid is a factor. Will it stick?
