@MindFlayedButOk Laughing quietly, he shuffled along, the arcade lights coming into view. “Don’t let me win. I need to do it fair and square.”

@StaticAndMoon "Okay." He needed to relax. "I missed you too. I might even let you win on whatever game we play."

@MindFlayedButOk “Hey. Anytime we spend together is fun and …like I said. I was missing you pretty bad.” It wasn’t a far walk to the arcade and the pizza place was right next door. “Besides it’s been a while since you kicked my butt in a video game.”

@StaticAndMoon Totally not going to blush like crazy. Or act like an idiot. "Sounds great. It'll be fun."

@ChaosMayfield Mike swallowed, nodding a little too fast before he caught himself. “Yeah… official.” He smiled, soft and a little nervous. “I’d really like that.”

@StaticAndMoon Max was very shy around Mike now that they’ve somehow made this official. She then thought about how much Mike is a natural leader and she’s perfectly okay with that. “And I think I like you a lot…We did, and I think we have each other worked out now. So…official?”

@MindFlayedButOk Linking his arm through Wills, just because, he smiles shyly. “How about we go to the arcade, mess around there and then grab a pizza .”

@StaticAndMoon "Really?" Just the two of them? That seemed too good to be true but he wasn't going to question it. "Yeah. Let's do it." Where though... "There's the mall? Your basement. Arcade."

@MindFlayedButOk “Can’t help it. I think it’s just me.” He bumped Wills shoulder again. “Let’s go hang out somewhere. Just me and you.”

@StaticAndMoon "You don't have to keep worrying Mike. I'm alright." Not that it didn't make him feel all warm and fuzzy to hear it.

@MindFlayedButOk “I…I guess I like having you around and when you’re not…I ..” gosh he didn’t want to sound needy … “I worry and ..want to see you.”

@StaticAndMoon "Really?" Did that sound too hopeful? Probably. "Why?"

@ChaosMayfield Mike stiffened for half a second, then relaxed into the hug, arms coming up a little awkwardly. “Yeah… really.” He smiled, cheeks warm. “Guess we just needed time to figure each other out. I think…I like you….a lot.”

@StaticAndMoon “Really?” She then hugged Mike, blushing bright pink almost red at this point. “I honestly thought you were going to say no, given how we never used to get along and everything.”

@LazyArtistz “I really like them.The way you balance it…the light and the dark..it’s honest. That’s hard to do.” He tapped the drawing gently. “These aren’t just creepy for the sake of it. They mean something.” He smiled. “I’m framing your first sketch and telling everyone I knew you when.”

@LazyArtistz Mike laughed, shaking his head as he looked over the drawings again. “Okay, first…Hollywood is not calling. Let’s not get carried away.” He paused, studying the page longer this time. “But… New York, maybe. You’re not wrong about that.” He looked back at her, proud. -

@StaticAndMoon “I need $20!”

@MindFlayedButOk “Might have been missing you.”

@StaticAndMoon Smiles. "Hey."

@MindFlayedButOk Smiles, bumping his shoulder. “Hey…”

@ChaosMayfield “Guess we’re doing something right.”

@ChaosMayfield Mike took the candy bar, fingers brushing hers for half a second before he looked away, smiling. “Yeah… I like this one.” He hesitated, then broke it in half and handed a piece back. “And…uh…I don’t really want it to end either.” He shrugged, a little bashful. -

@LazyArtistz …really good.” He tapped the page gently. “You’ve got an eye for light. The sunsets especially… they feel like Hawkins, but better.” He smiled at her, warm and proud. “Keep this up and you might be the one that has all the money coming in.”

@LazyArtistz Mike snorted softly as he started the car. “Yeah, no. If it worked like that, I’d be driving something way cooler.” He glanced over as she pulled the notepad out, then actually paused when he saw it. “…Hazel.” He leaned closer, genuinely impressed. “This is really good. Like -

@ChaosMayfield Mike swallowed, rubbing the back of his neck, eyes flicking anywhere but hers for a second. “…Yeah. There’s a yes.” He glanced back at her, a small, nervous smile. “Just…yeah.”

@StaticAndMoon She looked away, her face pink from blushing before glancing shyly up at him. “Aw just as I was getting used to it..” She grinned a little. “You didn’t…so does that mean there’s a yes in there somewhere?”
