@CJPME Imagine voting this way (good) and then continuing to deny the Indigenous population in so-called Canada the same thing (bad). The cognitive dissonance is astounding.
After 18 years of shamefully voting NO, Canada has finally switched its position and voted YES at the UN in support of the sovereignty of the Palestinian people in the OPT over their natural resources.
The resolution "demands that Israel, the occupying Power, cease the exploitation, damage, cause of loss or depletion and endangerment of the natural resources in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and in the occupied Syrian Golan."
We welcome Canada's overdue return to this principled position, and continue to urge Canada to support all UN resolutions that uphold Palestinian human rights and international law.

I strongly condemn this disturbing act of anti-Palestinian racism and violence.
Police have found that the family in London whose home was attacked had been subjected to repeated harassment and targeting.
My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time and all those impacted.
Anti-Palestinian racism has no place in our communities and must be confronted.

We are horrified by strikes that killed Palestinian civilians in Rafah.
Canada does not support an Israeli military operation in Rafah.
This level of human suffering must come to an end.
We demand an immediate ceasefire.
2/2 We condemn these strikes & call for a full investigation.🇨🇦 expects full accountability for these killings & we will convey this to the Israeli government directly. Strikes on humanitarian personnel is absolutely unacceptable. International humanitarian law must be respected.
1/2 I am horrified to hear reports of the IDF strike taking the lives of 7 World Central Kitchen employees in Gaza yesterday, including a Canadian citizen.
I recommend masturbating less. When I don't masturbate, the brief intense pleasure I'd normally get from masturbating spreads out into the rest of my life, making everything slightly more enjoyable, and my mind is freer via not being distracted by sex-related things.
@theJagmeetSingh Embarrassing, irresponsible, and baseless tweet that will only fuel Islamophobia and anti-Palestinian hate while also putting peaceful protesters in danger. Correct this lie.
Yesterday, the Mount Sinai Hospital was targeted because of its ties to the Jewish community in Toronto.
This is not okay.
Hospitals are a place for healing - not a target for protests.
My essay, titled "Molly," is a complicated and difficult piece, that honestly I already don't remember writing. It shares some intense & delicate material about her life, our lives together, and her choice to die. Please read with care. thevolta.org/im-bbutler.html
@fredthomasmusic I am in no way saying this tweet is responsible for the Grammy nom, but there’s no way that I’m the only person that thinks about it mostly every day.
