Stove Tenter House (1818) off Cork Street, still in existence hidden behind other buildings. It was built for weavers to dry their cloth in wet weather, hence the use of stoves and tenters (tenter hooks to stretch and dry the cloth) and the vents in the roof (now gone)

Delighted to visit Dublin Civic Trust’s building on Ormond Quay today - a wonderful conservation project of a late Georgian town house. There will be further opportunities to see this house during Heritage Week and on Culture night
