We respect your privacy, and we only collect the data needed to provide our features:
- Page text is read when you ask a question or, if enabled, when an article is detected for summarization. - Highlights, queries, and AI answers are stored in your chat history (kept for up to 24 months) so you can revisit them later.
- Uploaded files (PDFs, images) are processed temporarily to answer your questions and are not stored.
- Basic technical info and performance logs are collected to keep the extension reliable and secure.
We apply PII filters to avoid storing sensitive information such as credentials, financial IDs, government IDs, biometrics, exact addresses, or data from private surfaces (e.g. banking, email, healthcare).
