I would like to make a minor official statement regarding the situation with Kreampuff. I am very disappointed, as I had fully thought she was sweet and genuine, and I would try to help her out financially wherever I could. Due to the recent events of her art scamming coming to light, I can't help but wonder if she was being entirely truthful about her home and family situation. I adored her art, and genuinely wanted to see her succeed. Unfortunately, it's left me feeling used, guilty, and upset. I had commissioned a $290 AUD ($210 USD) chibi model with toggles last year, and despite saying she'll refund me "when she has the money", I can't help but feel like that's a lie. The amount of high-paying commissions she took on was reckless, and even though my commission wasn't as much money as some other vtubers', my donations to her Ko-Fi more than make up the difference, I feel. I donated hundreds of Australian dollars to her, believing that it would be going towards a good cause. I enjoy giving gifts and donations to my friends, and sending monetary support to people who need it, but this whole situation just makes me feel taken advantage of for my generosity. Kream should know better, even if they're a minor. We all make mistakes, sure, but this is a mistake that has huge consequences, considering art commissions are a business. I won't be saying much else on the matter, except that if you're also a victim of Kream's scamming and such, I am happy to be reached out to. If you want to potentially help me recoup whatever money was lost on Kream, I have my own VGen and Ko-Fi.
