The main obstacle now to rejoining the EU (which even MPs realise would solve a lot of problems) is the idea that democracy happened in 2016 and that changing things would not be respecting democracy.
This is stopping MPs and some remainers from supporting change.
So irrelevant as it may seem today, it is l vital to demonstrate that the 2016 referendum carries no legitimacy and that Brexit was based on lies.
