the benchmarks we have are obsolete now I'm fine-tuning SAM3 on RefCOCO-M categories as text prompt left is ground truth RefCOCO-M mask, right is SAM3 predictions on the image

I ran LLM autoraters that trawled through the Gemini 3 Pro RL rollouts to surface weird behaviors. This worked surprisingly well! 🧵 I found that Gemini was sometimes aware of its environment and showed extreme emotions, like flipping a table: (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

The start date for NeurIPS2024 has been changed to Tuesday, December 10, allowing delegates to arrive on Monday for the Tuesday morning sessions. This adjustment is necessary due to limited hotel availability on Sunday night. The only corresponding change in the schedule is that the EXPO talks will be held on Tuesday instead of Monday. They will not overlap with the tutorials, allowing the conference attendees to enjoy both EXPO and Tutorials on Tuesday. Efforts are already underway to update the space allocation and the schedule to reflect this change. Please note that the main conference sessions will remain as planned, with the opening session on Tuesday afternoon, followed by sessions running from Wednesday through Friday. Workshops are still scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, maintaining the original structure of the event. Registration will now open on Monday from 1 pm to 6 pm, giving early arrivals the opportunity to pick up their badges and avoid the expected rush on Tuesday morning. The conference website reflects these changes (lnkd.in/dyicbBBA). Attendees are encouraged to share this update with colleagues, students, and authors to ensure a smooth experience for all.
