Crypto Conferences should be Music Festivals. Festivals already run on cashless wristband payment systems (hello stablecoins). Crypto Infra is finally ready to support a massive music festival that seamlessly appeals to mainstream audiences. It will be the largest onboarding event to date if we do it right. @base @zora @ethereumfndn @Shopify @stripe @Paxos @itmstudio @thirdweb @raave @FWBtweets @Mastercard @circle @PayPal @jessepollak Right now the conference circuit is broken and backwards, plateauing. Reliant on sponsors, conferences are insular, revenue negative, esoteric events that do nothing to grow the pie and instead see the same ~100 people flying from city to city to give the same talks to the same audiences. The actual conference is a slog that folks sit through to get the side-events around town. This model should be totally flipped, the main should just be a music festival with a lineup that would appeal to global music lovers, and the satellite events should be the talks, demos, etc. This way we can onboard folks at scale, introduce them to crypto in a format they are used to (everyone is already using these top up internal wrist bands), and have a damn good time along the way. The part about creators being onchain we forget to talk about is how volatile the market is and how much anxiety that builds for creators trying to make extra income here.
all creator markets should consider stable coins in my opinion.
@stayinprocess and @TopiaTV are giving options but stable coins will be the focus coins for the platforms in the near future. 🪄
