@TranspAccess There are people that walk. But unfortunately mostly would be immigrants. If I see Malaysians walking, I have to suppress this urge to stop and ask them what is the matter, like they need help or something

RM500mil can buy 11 Intercity EMUs for KTM ETS. It's "baffling" we can spend this much money to appease road users. But buying ETS is "just too much strain on government coffers", so "we need to lease them" (direct nego lak tu) says Ah Loke of @MOTMalaysia

While RapidKL is going trigger happy to cut bus services to turn them into DRT vans, Singapore instead looks to increase new bus services, even going as far to introduce express variants of feeder buses into LRT and MRT stations, which is what we should look into instead:

Transit Malaysia has raised concerns over the downgrade of 29 RapidKL bus routes to Rapid-on-Demand DRT services, which coincides with higher DRT fares and its exclusion from unlimited RapidKL passes.
Transit Malaysia says My50 passholders now have to pay an extra RM2 per trip, hitting lower-income commuters the hardest.
“The government’s bus-to-van downgrade decision is regrettable in absence of statistics on unfulfilled DRT trips due to capacity and scheduling issues,” it said.

There were just 38 trains available in recent updates despite being promised 42 in March 2025. This is less than 66% of the original 58 train fleet.
