That's good news - the next step is to publicise your reply and to hope that anyone needing to make a complaint has access to a telephone. I have a relative with cerebral palsy who can't even wipe his own arse, so he is excluded from your complaints procedure.

Good communication is vital in improving how Police Forces connect with others.
Some 20% of the population have an infirmity - mental, physical or both and there is no doubt that there is need for major change in how Police deal the disabled public.

@WestMerciaPCC Please remind the Force that comms is the life blood of dealing with the public, where a significant number can't read or see or not have a capacity to communicate.
As a public service you need to interface with the widely different needs of the whole population.

At 1.10am today I phoned 999 for an ambulance as my 91 year old partner was lying on the floor with blood pouring from a gash in her head, where she was injured in her fall.
I then heard those fatal words”we have no ambulances that can answer your call”
