it's not Stockholm Syndrome.. its a class thing, I for 1 am not directly affected by illegal immigration because I'm a professional & live relatively comfortably, however illegal foreigners have taken up space usually occupied by our unskilled people, "informal economy" the majority. So we dealing with people who come into the country illegally to end selling bananas on a corner, surely you can understand that is not a scarce skill, that person is taken bread from a South African who can also sell bananas. we've got 1000s of foreign African doctors & other professionals who i work worth. who are comfortably staying and not getting on planes fleeing Xenophobia..
