A review of IRS filings revealed that Jeff Bezos paid a true tax rate of less than 1%. Warren Buffet paid less than one-tenth of 1 percent. Elon Musk's true tax rate of 3.27% seems generous in comparison but still pales compared to the percentage that you and I pay.

Before becoming head of the AFL-CIO, in 1989, as president of United Mine Workers of America, Richard Trumka led a successful 9-month strike against the Pittston Coal Company that resulted in mine workers getting better job security, pensions and benefits. Rest in power.
