I think because airlines have been privatized for so long, we forget that they are public transportation. That’s why they are always getting bailed out by the government. It isn’t supposed to be a luxury service, it’s a necessary one due to how big this country is.

Back home with my grandma while I’m recovering from surgery for this exact reason. Chilling with my 11 aunts and uncles and everybody carrying the load feels like being in a time capsule.
