She saw the way [the reader] moved their phone like they were about to snap a photo and she laughed softly, moving a hand in front of her face to hide. “Don’t—“ she heard the sound of a photo being taken anyway. Afterwards she risked peeking through her fingers and grinned.

@VMadeProtector “I actually play the guitar. Kind of self taught mostly, once I decided it would be useful to know an instrument instead of just relying on my voice.” She smiled.

@crimsncountess "Oh? What kind are you writing? I could watch a few concerts, learn guitar thats not death metal" he laughed

@VMadeProtector “Nah, none of that. I mean I used to do a show of sorts. You know? But uhm, something happened and I kind of got fired.” She lifted a shoulder nonchalantly. “So I write my own songs, whatever inspires me really.”

@crimsncountess "What kind of stuff do you sing? Opera? Metal? Show tunes?" He wondered, with a teasing tone

@VMadeProtector “Probably a good thing you’re not the one who needs to do the singing then.” She grinned.

@crimsncountess "Now imagine it screaming at the top of its lungs. Thats me trying to sing"

@VMadeProtector That earned a soft laugh from her. “Oh that’s quite the picture I’m getting now.”

@crimsncountess "Now theres a talent I cant copy. Never been able to sing. I sound like a cat caught in a lawnmower" he laughed

@VMadeProtector It was funny how little she thought of herself in that way, though it was far from the first person who’d told her something like it obviously. “Right well, I guess nowadays I see myself more as a singer than all that.”

@crimsncountess "Please, outside the O.G heroes from the 50s, youre like, the standard setters" he insisted

@VMadeProtector The question made her blink, she never thought of herself quite in those words so she just shrugged and smiled. “I’m just me, nothing too extraordinary let alone legendary about that.”

@crimsncountess "No problem" he grinned, finally putting the bean bag in his pocket as he found a can to kick between his feet like a soccer ball "So whats it like being a legend?"

@VMadeProtector “Oh, well.” She cleared her throat, a small smile curving by the corner of her mouth. “Thank you.”

@crimsncountess "You're cute, you know that" he said with an air of honesty in his words, nothing behind them, just him observing and commenting

@VMadeProtector “Oh—“ she laughed then, shaking her head softly while she scrunched up her nose. “Well I bet that must’ve been a surprise.”

@crimsncountess "Just the blonde girl from Teenage Kix the one time" he laughed

@VMadeProtector “The best trees?” She snickered. “Okay well, sounds like you find all sorts of treasures. How about any lost cats?”

@crimsncountess "The best trees are normally in heavy wooded areas" he teased "but you never know when youll find a kite or Frisbee up a few branches"

@VMadeProtector “Alright then.” She chuckled softly. “Well don’t let me stop you or anything.”

@cruelpurr "Watching others and tournaments" he admitted "photographic mimicry is my specialty. Monkey see, monkey do type" he added with a shrug "As long as I can see someone do something, I can copy it. Powers excluded"

@VMadeProtector a slow, amused smile tugs at her lips at the mention of thumb wars. though she’s still intrigued. “⠀and where, exactly, did you learn all that .ᐣ⠀”

she hums, expression unreadable, steps carrying her closer to his sports bag. feline eyes idly scanning its contents. “⠀honestly .ᐣ⠀” she muses, hands pulling out a golf club, testing its weight. “⠀tons of martinis ‥⠀” ⤸

@crimsncountess "I'll warn you in advance" he promised with a laugh "I'll try keep the climbing to a minimum"

@VMadeProtector “Men,” she muttered amusedly under her breath, a grin playing on her lips. “Sounds chaotic to walk with you, if you need to climb a tree mid walk..” she chuckled.

@crimsncountess "You want me to sit still, put s fishing pole in my hands" he grinned "Walks see good. But eventually, I'm finding a tree to climb"

@VMadeProtector “Couldn’t be me.” She chuckled softly. “I like going for walks and experiencing things, but I am so comfortable not moving from my chosen comfortable spot, for hours on end.”

@crimsncountess "Very, I couldn't even sit still in a classroom" he grinned "if im nkt doing something, I feel just.. blah"

@VMadeProtector “So you have trouble staying idle then?” She questioned, a small smile tugging on her lips. “I just can’t focus on audio books if I’m doing a whole lot on the side.”

@crimsncountess "If I got a book in my hands, theres no ball bat or hockey stick" he laughed "a book on tape, I can listen to while I practice"

@VMadeProtector That earned a snort from her. “On tape?” She smirked faintly. “I prefer physical over audio books. Only because it feels nice to recharge like that.”

@VMadeProtector She wasn’t prepared for it, with being a bit of the clumsy type, so it landed in front of her and she picked it up to toss it carefully back. “Well, I’m more of a stay indoors with my books type. Peace of mind and all. But I like socializing, so i don’t think it’s noticeable.”

@crimsncountess "Solo sports type" he chuckled as he kicked the hackey sack her way "You'd think being a living legend would drag the extrovert out by force" he teased

@VMadeProtector “Hm. I guess I can understand that. It can be hard to keep track off.” She wrinkled her nose slightly. “I’m more of an introvert myself, not that it’s all that obvious.”

@crimsncountess "Really? Helps me remember people" he shrugged "not a big social life so it helps"

@VMadeProtector “My contact photo?” She grinned. “I don’t think I’ve ever changed a photo under a contact in my phone.”
