Today, VALD Ghana joins the Istanbul Initiative to mark Human Rights Day under the theme Human Rights Our Everyday Essentials. We highlight the right to health and call for stronger action on tobacco, alcohol and drug use to protect health and safe lives. #HumanRightsDay

On 21st Sept 2025, VALD in collaboration with GhanAPA with support from WAAPA organized advocacy poster campaign around the Ministry of Health and the Parliament. This action called for urgent passage of Ghana's Alcohol Control Legislation to protect public health and save lives
