Winchcombe Show needs you. The 70th Show was amazing. Sadly there are not enough people to run it in 2020. At last nights AGM only 1 new person turned up. We need 4 more helpers urgently. Email classentries@winchcombeshow.org.uk if you can help keep the Show on the road.
UPDATE! Road closure removed so procession will run as usual along Greet Road without having to divert up Crispin Close. The sun is still due to shine though, no change there! Look forward to seeing you, remember, Flower Show entries need to be in by 12 noon tomorrow, Saturday.
A last call to all Winchcombe bakers, we'd love to have your home made bakes at the WInchcombe show tea tent on 26 August. If you're short on time, we love shop bought ones too - don't forget the money raised goes to local charities.
The Show is definitely going ahead at Winchcombe Senior School as usual with the procession starting at Abbey Fields at 11.30 am. The only change is that the procession will turn left at Budgens, up Crispin Road, and down Kenelm Rise to join the Greet Road at the Medical Centre.
PLEASE NOTE we have received various enquiries about the show in light of the road closure on Greet Road. The ONLY change is that the procession will turn left at Budgens, up Crispin Road, and then down Kenelm Rise to join the Greet Road again at the Medical Centre.
Check out this years flower show schedule on line winchcombeshow.org.uk or buy from Keelings newsagents. All competitors receive a free entry voucher to the show this year to celebrate 70 years of the show.
It's been 50 years since the Moon Landing...get in the spirit of celebration by creating something for the show: space related floral art or spaced themed childrens classes. View all the classes at winchcombeshow.org.uk or pick up a schedule from Keelings News Agents
Calling all children: open the show with a procession from Abbey Fields at 11:30am. Space theme and prizes for best fancy dress!
