What other fanbase would endure the hellish reality of the last 15 years? Our fans are among the best in world sport. Literally nothing to celebrate other than some regular season wins, yet we refuse to yield. It’s a special club - it just needs to get out of its own way

The length of an event doesn’t dictate whether it’s good or bad.
As long as what’s being conveyed flows somewhat nicely into the next motion of the story, that’s what should matter.
And funny you say

Due to this event it will introduce two new POIs, and possibly a third one next season, as well as bringing the Ice King and the Foundation.

Remember when Fortnite mini live events use to be like this? Wrecked Chapter 5 Season 3 was GOATED! It was almost 3 minutes long, had voiced dialogue and made a drastic change to the POI and added Pandora's box. Probably couldn't spend much on the live event today because remember they have to "pay the bills" 🤪.

Everyone saying “pull the UEFN payouts” needs to remember that UGC accounts for over 50% of the playtime in Fortnite, so should be paid for that 🧐.. and also Epic’s own experiences are also included in the payout system.
They would probably take 50% of that revenue🧐
And also The idea that reducing payouts would make bad actors leave while the good creators stay just isn’t realistic.
A copy and paste map issue needs to be fix, but a copy and paste map haven’t got overheads like studios or even lone wolfs trying to make a difference to make a difference the UGC eco-system…
