Y'all are box-score scouting. Faulk isn't there to be a 15-sack guy; he's a 6'6, 275lb anchor. In a Hafley system, you need an elite edge setter to stop the run and funnel everything back inside. That’s what frees up a guy like Chop Robinson to actually pin his ears back and hunt. One hunts, one sets the table.

Sully knows the value of those traits and Hafley’s hybrid front is built for exactly what Faulk does. Calling Gary/LVN 'underachievers' is just box-score scouting. If you want a defense that can play fast for four quarters, you draft the guys with the engines and the frames to do it. Faulk fits the vision perfectly.
