@AdamP1242 Joao Pedro, Mbeumo, and Sesko were the right call. We just can’t match the wages they went for. And the club were naive to think these players would go for us on less money. THATs where the issues are. Club thought they outgrew the “shrewd signings from Europe” phase à la BrunoG

Newcastle United just has to ride out the storm for now, everyone is to blame in my opinion from the ownership, recruitment, manager and down to the players Can’t sack Eddie Howe without a realistic replacement, we aren’t getting Xabi Alonso, we aren’t getting Diego Simeone and we aren’t getting Jurgen Klopp Club needs to plan this out during the remainder of the season ahead of the World Cup and figure out how to go forward We have a huge project with some world class players that are devoted to the club, what we decide to do next has to be the correct long term decision ✅ #NUFC

@AdamP1242 Exactly the point. Guys demand to play champions league annually. These same guys aren’t performing to those standards, so their attitudes are misguided. The issue I have is letting Howe and his nephew have free reign over recruitment last summer. miracle Nickson didn’t leave

@NUFCMurph The issue is, he feels like he has some divine right to play in the Champions League. Newcastle missing out on the champions league comes down in a large part that Tonali has been terrible, and his performance doesn’t warrant these demands. It’s a pretty turbulent paradox

@AnfieldAgenda Wissa actually returned training with his team though, big difference, Isak just flew off to Spain (bizarre) and did solo training. His own stupid decisions cost him a year of his career in his prime.
