Lemme explain something to y'all, and I'm gonna try to use small words so it sinks in: Being illiterate, functional or otherwise, isn't cool. You're harming yourself, and through your ignorance, others. Almost the entirety of humanity's knowledge -- that we still have access to -- is written down. I'm not saying you have to run out and become proficient in Latin, or Greek, or any other foreign language. But stop being a fucking embarrassment to yourself and everyone around you by being incapable of reading and understanding simple statements in your own native language. Read a fucking book every now and then. There are plenty available that align with just about every ideology in existence. Information becomes knowledge. Knowledge becomes wisdom. And you become better for it. If you cannot educate yourself, you are left at the mercy of what others tell you about everything. And some of y'all are REALLY completely dependent on others for what you know, because it's painfully clear to the rest of us that you can't read for shit.

The California elections prove one thing to me: Leftists are truly in a cult. That, or their thinking is very cult-like. If I lived in a city where there was garbage on the streets, open drug use, fires and destruction, graffiti, and the *one* person who could directly do something about it was like “this is horrible… someone should do something about this…” you can bet your sweet Aunt Petunia I’d be voting for the guy who is telling everyone he’s going to do something about it. Instead, they’ll sit in their filth and grime and say “this is fine… as long as a Republican isn’t in charge, this is fine.” Someone make it make sense to me…

When I was young, I had unfettered internet access. I have seen the worst it had to offer. Every second of gore that could break a man, I was exposed to and desensitized to it. Nothing bothered me. No video ever prepared me for the Ronnie McNutt video. Someone sent me it and didn't say what it was. I remember clicking it and thinking "I wonder what this is?" I slammed my laptop shut. Easily one of the worst videos ever recorded. After watching it, I felt like I just watched the video from The Ring. I had a small fascination with gore and I'd find myself watching these videos from time to time. It was a curiosity. A "so that's what happens" thing. I never watched anything like that intentionally again. Watching stuff like this harms your soul, I'm convinced of it.
